Commemorative Stamp on Completion of 50 years of Passport Act, 1967

The Passport Act, 1967 has completed 50 years of its enactment on 23rd June, 2017. To mark this occasion, a function was held at Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan, New Delhi during Passport Seva Divas 2017, on 23.06.2017. During this event, a special post stamp commemorating the completion of 50 years of the Passport Act, 1967 was released in the august presence of Smt. Sushma Swaraj, External Affairs Minister, Shri Manoj Sinha, MoS (Independent Charge) Communications, Gen. (Dr.) V.K. Singh (Retd.), MoS – External Affairs, Shri. M.J. Akbar, MoS – External Affairs and other distinguished guests.
