1st India Festival in Bratislava

India Klub with support of the Embassy and Bratislava Old Town Administration organized the 1st Indian Festival in Bratislava on 23rd September, 2018 at the city centre. Ambassador Harsh Jain; Mr. Ladislav Volko, President of the India Klub (former Ambassador of Slovakia to India) and Ms. Lubica Janegova, Head of Department of Culture of Bratislava Old Town jointly inaugurated the festival. The festival, organized in an open square, included stalls for Indian food, handicrafts, garments, home textiles, yoga classes, henna, sari show and a colourful cultural programme from 11am to 8pm. Around 1000 people are estimated to have visited the festival.
